The Bourne Skating Club (BSC) is a 501 c (3) non-profit organization committed to providing the resources necessary to help figure skaters of all levels achieve their goals. Donations to the club are tax deductible. We strive to provide a welcoming environment and encourage the instruction, practice, enjoyment and advancement of our members in all aspects of figure skating in accordance with the United States Figure Skating.
The Bourne Skating Club membership draws skaters from the Upper and Lower Cape and southeastern Massachusetts regions. Skaters come from various towns (Bourne, Falmouth, Sandwich, Mashpee, Osterville, Marstons Mills, Brewster, Eastham, Truro, Harwich, Orleans, Wareham, Mattapoisett, Rochester, Plymouth, Kingston, and Middleborough) to participate in our club programs.
The Bourne Skating Club also offers outstanding coaching for our skaters. The professional staff delivers quality instruction from basic skills to senior level. All of our coaches are certified through United States Figure Skating and all are members of the Professional Skaters Association (PSA). BSC skaters participate regularly at qualifying and non-qualifying competitions. Our skaters benefit not only from their coaches' strong skating background, but also their professionalism, commitment, and educational backgrounds. Our coaching staff demonstrates its professionalism, love for its work, and genuine commitment to the development of our skaters and the sport of figure skating.
The club’s Board of Directors oversees the club financials and monitors all club programs.
